this was torture...such torture. but she keeps a smile and keept her body at jasper's side while everyone rushed in on them and wanted tos peak to both of them.

It didn't take long to realise that Monet would be pretty useless in this situation. Suppressing a sigh, he put a smile on his lips and quickly took the lead in this question. With all his charm, he received the congratulations and made some small talk with all the people who wanted to talk to them.

once the whole situation had calmed down and they had a little breather he looked up at him. "you are enjoying this way to much!"

He gave her a rather unimpressed look. "I'm not enjoying this at all, Monet. I'm just way better at hiding i then you."

the glance her father gave her send chills down her spine when they were finally be left alone again. "its fine", and she took a deep breath. "i don't need a bedroom...the couch will do fine for me"

He didn't like the look he threw his daughter, but he knew better then to open his mouth in front of Mr. Abercromby again. "Don't be ridiculous", he said with a sigh. "I'm not sure if my dad is already expecting us to sleep in the same room. If so, I will get the room next to mine ready for you. I don't believe that they actually check if we sleep in the same room." A sigh left his lips. "But I hope that my dad is actually decent enough and gives us some space and has actually gotten one of the guest rooms ready for you."

she took a deep breath and then looked up to him, softly nooding to his words. "i don't need much, i promise"

He gave her a confused look. Who was she and what had she done to Monet? "Stop being weird." This new Monet gave him the creeps! "You aren't marrying into a poor family and just because I don't want to marry you, doesn't mean that I will treat you like an unpleasant thing." He knew that he had a bad reputation, butwas it really this terrible? "You will get whatever you want and need."

"Canw e please go?", she said when she realized that her father looked back at them, talking to someone else. "i think we have stayed long enough"
