she softly furrowed her eyes and then took a deep breath while looking back at him. "Yes and i have not chosen this life", there would be no sense in being unreasonable to him, or even lie. "Why do you think i picked london? To get out of here, get away from all of this. Honestly Jasper...don't tell me you like this life? I mean...it's so....fake", she sighted and then kind of reminded herself who seh was talking to and she just shook her head. "it's fine, really. Thank you", she slowly stood up. "i'll leave you alone, this is your room after all"

How was he supposed to answer this question? The Jasper she knew would immediately say that he loved this life. And it wasn't even a lie. He had loved it for many many years. The change hadn't come for a long time. But she didn't know about tat change. Nor did anyone else. He was still acting like his old self even if it wasn't the person he was anymore. Luckily, he was saved from finding an answer by her next words. He gave her a short nod."Your room is on the other side of the stairs. You will have everything you need there. If something's still missing, just use the bell on the side of your nightstand. One of our staff members will come immediately."

she jsut took a deep breath and nooded. "Will i be expected at the breakfast table? i...i don't have anything here, do i? or...did my father actuially say the truith and all my belongings are already here?", god knows if that man was bluffing or not! And she already slowly walked over to the door, to do as she had said bevore

"I don't know if everything is here, but I have seen multiple suitcases", he admitted. What was the point in lying? "Normally, we only eat breakfast as a family on weekends. But my parents have told me that we are expected at the table tomorrow morning even tough it's a monday, because of the... special occasion." God, this was driving him nuts! "Breakfast will be served at 9 am."

she sighted. so her father had not joked. Which would have also honestly be a big surpruse. "okay", she said and looked over to him. "I'll be there on time" and she left the room to go find her own new bedroom

"Good night." He looked after her and sat in the armchair for quite a long time after she had left. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to sleep, he took out his things for uni and started to work on his projects. He worked till the early morning hours, till he finally sent it to his partner. >I know I'm a bit late, but I had some family drama. Still sorry for the wait. once she had been in her room..the night was restless. how the hell did she end up in this..mess? it could not be descriped as anything else than this. So she had spend the night on her laptop, doing different things to keep her mind occupied and when that email hit in the early morning hours she just furrowed her brows and clicked reply.

He furrowed the eyebrows in confusion.

A deep sigh left his lips. He really didn't have the patience to deal with this right now.

He closed his laptop and got undressed. Maybe he would manage to get some sleep before breakfast was calling.

she jsut rolled her eyes at the last message and tried to get some shut eye...which had actually not worked out so in the end she took a bath and got ready for breakfast when it was time to go down

He had only gotten about an hour of sleep, before he already got out of bed again. Family breakfast wasn't as informal as other families were used to. No, he had to look proper and since he had slept this badly, it would take a bit more time this morning. He got a cold shower to get a bit more awake and then went through his morning routine. Getting dressed in some nice slacks and a designer button down, he finally went down to breakfast. He could only hope that he would arrive before Monet or else, it would probably be quite awkward for her.

God, she already hated this! this house was ridicolouse, nothing she would want to live him...she could only hope jasper would move out with her. This was exactly the reason why she had left in the first place ... Sure, her apartment in london was tiny, but it was home. It was small and her own and not right in your face! After she had a shower she made sure to make her hair and get into a light summer dress that was not revealing, as his parents would probably not appreciate it at all! Putting on some slight make up, so it woul dstill considered natural she made her way..not that she would now the way!
Luckily she bumped right into jasper on the stairs and looked at him. "oh - its you"

"Morning." He was glad to see that Monet had gotten dressed up as well. He had forgotten to tell her the importance of it the previous night, but the Archibald had showed him, that he shouldn't have worried. "Did you manage to get at least a tiny bit of sleep?" He could only imagine that she had gotten as little sleep as he did. After all, the whole situation was even worse for her then him. He at least was still at home!
